Units reached shielding levels up to roughly 90 dB in a basic bench-test setup. This is a shielding level about 10,000× greater than what typical Faraday bags provide (often around 50 dB). Metal trash cans with tape frequently measure closer to ~35 dB, and microwaves provide little to no meaningful shielding. These alternatives often give a false sense of protection.
